Jisung LeeJisung Lee is a junior from Logan, Utah. After returning from HOBY Utah 2019, Jisung has reached out to her community in various ways. She strongly believes in the power of youth and hopes to spread empathy to others by working as one of UTREAT's treaters. Through UTREAT, she hopes to positively impact every teen refugee in Utah. When she is not on her computer, Jisung can be found playing tennis, writing poetry, and learning new languages.

Kalina MawKalina Maw is a junior from Torrey, Utah. As an alumni of HOBY Utah 2019, she firmly believes that everybody deserves an education. She believes that she has a purpose to help and speak up for the less fortunate. Through UTREAT, she looks forward to help tutor and provide educational opportunities for teen refugees across Utah. Outside of school, Kalina enjoys dancing, playing the flute, and studying.

Kira KammererA junior from Midvale, Utah, Kira Kammerer hopes to help enhance and unite the diverse student body at her school through UTREAT’s services. As an alumni from HOBY Utah, Kira has learned the immense value of leadership, and is excited to utilize these skills by joining the team within this organization. Outside of UTREAT, she is her school’s Speech Captain, enjoys drawing, and loves to study history.

Emily RinconEmily Rincon is a junior living in Logan, UT. She is passionate about immigration and refugee issues and hopes that through UTREAT, she will ameliorate the lives of people in small or big ways. Emily believes that everyone deserves love and education. She loves photography, reading the news, listening to music, and hopes to become a photojournalist one day.
Junsung Lee
Junsung is a freshman living in Logan, UT. He is passionate about interacting with everyone regardless of their race, background, and nationality. As the youngest member of the UTREAT family, he hopes to help everyone in anyways he can. Outside of school, Junsung enjoys playing tennis, running, snowboarding, swimming, and doing taekwondo.

Emma Larese-CasanovaEmma Larese-Casanova is a junior from Logan, UT. She believes that everyone should be able to have a valuable education regardless of where they come from. She is grateful for this opportunity to help elevate teen refugee's voices because they are normally looked over. Emma enjoys drawing, painting, and learning about science.

Hamilton PeacockHamilton Peacock is currently a junior living in Logan, UT. He is a person who highly values education, and has a deep appreciation for the work being done by UTREAT. He is dedicated and determined to doing his part and helping where he can. He is an avid debater and is a part of Model United Nations at his school. |

Veronica SmithVeronica works as CRIC's volunteer coordinator. She oversees the volunteer programs, making sure they are sufficiently staffed and continually improved. She engages with refugee and immigrant clientele daily, building relationships and connecting them to resources. As she does so, the tagline of Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection is in her heart; Community for Everyone. She is anticipated to receive her Bachelor's degree in Social Work this spring. She is fluent in Spanish and loves any opportunity to speak the language. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and finding new favorite restaurants in Logan. |
Kenzie BowcuttKenzie Bowcutt is CRIC’s current full-time AmeriCorps VISTA. After spending 8 months in the Philippines, she came home to earn a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Utah State University. During her undergraduate degree, Kenzie interned with the U.S. State Department at the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines. Working in the Consular Section of the embassy, Kenzie found a passion for immigration. She loves speaking Tagalog with clients from the Philippines and is currently learning Spanish. Away from work, Kenzie enjoys being outside, playing/watching sports, sewing, or just spending time with family and friends. |
